生命之色 荷叶/译 红色因其高贵被赞为生命之色。但真正的生命之色不是红色。红色是暴力的象征，是破碎，重组并被公之于众的生命。如果红色真是生命之色，那唯一的条件就是不被人所见。一旦进入视野，红色就成为被颠覆的生命之色，成为背叛和废弃之举。红色是生命的秘密，不是生命的宣言。红色是这样的一样东西，其价值在于隐密，其才能要被隐藏。真正的生命之色是体色，是掩盖着的红色，是隐而不露的跳动着的心脏的颜色，是不被人所见的一抹血红。如此艳丽，如此浅淡，如此柔和，如此绚烂，生命之色不敌世上所有的颜色。它的美在于它色白，但逊于奶；色褐，但浅于土；色红，但弱于黎明和黄昏。它纯净透明，但不如百合色。它有所有纯色隐含的那抹金色，但在我们这个纬度，这抹金色却难以被察觉。事实上，在西西里的天空下，生命之色深于古老的象牙。但在英国薄雾弥漫的蓝色苍穹下，在伦敦地平线温暖的灰色中，它如六月末树篱中的浅色蔷薇一样，娇嫩绯红，色调单一，如群星闪耀。 附：原文 The Color of Life Red has been praised for its nobility as the color of life.
